How much water should your drink?

Low end of range= Body weight (lbs) x 0.5 = (ounces of fluid/day)
High end of range=Body weight (lbs) x 1 = (ounces of fluid/day)

For workouts:
One to two hours before your workout, drink 15 to 20 ounces of water

15 minutes before you begin, drink between 8 and 10 ounces of water

During exercise drink 8 ounces every 15 minutes

After your workout you should drink 2-3 cups of water for every pound lost during the workout.

For high intensity workouts or long duration you’ll probably need more than plain water. Time to find a good sports drink.
